Gaining key training skills to develop your team
In many learning situations lack of stimulus creates boredom and anxiety. In most human beings the brain prefers diverse and interesting input, but most corporate workshops present information in a stripped-down linear manner.
The brain learns poorly if presentation is done in an orderly, sequential fashion, as only part of the brain is used in this way, needless to say retention of learning is often low.
When learning is experiential, interesting and content-rich, through the whole brain, learning becomes almost effortless. We offer a programme to provide managers with the skills and behaviours to take responsibility for the training and development of their own staff, starting with the foundations of how people learn, the design of learning events and progressing to delivery and facilitation.
- How people learn and develop
- Building successful learning events
- Delivering successful learning events
- Facilitation skills for interactive learning
- Training needs analysis, planning and evaluating training
- ‘Workplace’ assessment and coaching
